| I took a party of 12 there last week - food was very average. Nobody was able to say it was good. Fish and chips expensive for a pre-prepared micro waved meal, burger dry and tasteless. I ate at The Fox in Matching Tye the week before, and had the same meal which was excellant (and cheaper). Service at The Townsend was ok though, and they have a good selection of real ale.
