| This pub is hidden away and not easy to find. Having visited last night and found the public bar noisy (loud jukebox), internal temperature in the "lounge" akin to a fridge, the decor a hideous orange with bare floorboards (looking as though the designer had heard of a trendy pub but never actually seen one) and a total lack of cask beer I can only assume that this is through embarrassment rather than any desire to achieve "hidden treasure" status. Another customer complained about the cold room and was met by indifference from the staff; heating turned off, door propped open by a heavy object, and this in mid-February! I have been travelling through Clunderwen for nearly 20 years and only recently realised the pub existed. I advise others to travel through as well. Definitely worth avoiding.
