| The Ship Inn is a welcoming place full of character. It is a small, basic pub,unchanged for many, many years. No Jukebox's or other irritations. I've always found the Beer, Banter and atmosphere to be excellent. I've visited on several occasions and am always welcomed back even though it can be many months between visits. | The decor of the Ship Inn looks as if it has not been cleaned since it first opened centuries ago. The Ladies and Gents sit down toilet is shared and is outside in a yard where a strong aroma of fish welcomes you. My pint of John Smiths was pumped full of gas,probably to get a head on it, and the result was several days of having a bad stomach and the runs.
