| This pub is a real corker !..beautiful and traditional with glorious gardens nestled in the hills behind the Cambrian coast, it is DEFINATELY the best pub in Ceredigion. It offers great home made food, guest ales- and the best pint of Guinness to be found for miles- a warm, friendly atmosphere, complete with a cosy fire. Monique and Rob are the particularly gorgeous hosts.They make a fine team, combining professional hospitality with a personal, warm and humourous manner. The pub keeps locals and visitors well amused with themed nights and excellent live music- catch the fabulous 'Whisky Mac' playing there regularly. | Boyfriends birthday,10 of us,2 had "roast lamb" 5 of us had "roast beef" and 2 kida had chicken nyggets and my 3 year old shared. I The supposedly roast beef was practically raw, soaking the rest of the food in blood, we complained as it was in edible and for gods sake kids were eating with us.Initally we wre told we could chooses anything else of the menu, but were then toldthe chef wasnt happy and we suffered the embassament of having a large debate in the restaurant justifing why we couldnt eat the meat!! My mother was with us and is a chef and she said her lamb wasnt cooked long enough and she believes the meat had been microwaved. We were so upset as we didnt not eat the food for the sake of it! my partner and I went without lunch because we actually felt sick.This was also his birthday treat ruined.I was petrified that my child might have been ill after and I am gutted how we were treated as this was once the family's favourite place to go.[Report for Removal] | Rachel Rees LLANDYSUL CEREDIGION |
