| The pub has recently reopened under new management, with excellent food both at lunchtime and in the evening (the home-made burger is really nice) and a roast on sunday. There is a juke-box, pool table and two bars, giving a quiet and cosy area for those who want to relax and chat. The recent drum & bass night was a success and there are hopes of more music evenings to follow! The entire pub has been redecorated and has a welcoming atmosphere. | This place is 'different'... laid back but ready to party if the clientele are in the right mood, easy going and relaxing. Smack bang in the a**e end of nowhere it seems to attract locals from far and wide like bees to a honey pot, but it's not surprising. Apparently it reopened again just a few months ago with a new landlady who is focussing on the community. Loads of live music, real ale both on tap and in bottles (lots of choice) and quality bar food if you get the nibbles. They even sell eco friendly gifts and fair trade teas and the like. If you haven't been around this neck of the woods in the past you might want to hire a Sherpa or a clocal scout to get you here because it isn't easy to find, but it's well worth the hassle! :o) If the banter inside the pub isn't to your liking there are paved outsde areas to the side or even the grassed area across the road next to the idylic river and stone bridge. | The Fox and Hounds CwmCych has live music throughout the year every Saturday night from 8 until late. Local bands, local DJs and local acts. During the week Curry NIGHT is Wednesday, Free Pool on Tuesday and builders night on Friday. A truely local pub part of the community, catering for birthday parties, aniversaries etc. Home cooked fresh localy produced food, real ales, real log fires, outside smoking area and riverside beer garden.[Report for Removal] | carol newcastle emlyn carmarthenshire |
