| Really disgusted, I had booked for 16 people which was confirmed for xmas dinner only to be told when I rang to give the order on the 10th that I had been crossed out. | Pub opening houre advertised till 11pm. I object to being told at 10.30pm (having come out at 9.30pm )bluntly that "we have stopped serving". It would have been nice if the two gentlemen landlords had come over an told us they were closing early for some reason or even called last orders early but neither of these was done. When I said the cards on the tables advertised closing 11pm I was told bluntly again - we have stopped serving. The fact that no-one else was in the pub perhaps says something about how this pub is run. Never had an experinece like that in any pub and I think it fairly sure that I will not ever be having the same experience in the Red lion. I recounted this experience to a neighbour.
