| was recently up in chesterfield on lads wknd found all staff polite pleasant and friendly and good selection off quality ales and food was very nice its a pub thats worth a visit [Report for Removal] | stuart chittock colchester essex |

| We were taking our elderly mum out for a lunch here & we were asked to leave our table after finishing eating (JUST) as 'regulars wanted their table. Whilst paying our £30 food bill we quietly expressed our dissapointment in this treatment. The landlady came over & her defence of this action was that these people ALWAYS have this table at 1.30 & we were lucky to get it for the midday sitting as it was usually someone elses table!! There were many more tables free in the same area but they wanted our table & the landlady thought this was acceptable as we were not regular customers. Both us & our families have spent a lot of time & money here and will decline the offer of any table in future! The landlady was loud & handled the situation badly.
