| The Royal Oak has enjoyed a recent refurbishment. After being taken over by Matt, whom grew up in the pub when his dad was landlord. If you are looking for a warm, charming and friendly place to enjoy a quality beer, you have just found it. The friendly staff, promptly serve crisp lagers and crystal clear bitters. Always a plasure to stop in for the occassonal pint. Matt recently changed the menu. I have enjoyed Pan fried cucumber on bed of egg noodles with a chilli and ginger sauce, absolutely exquisite.
