| As a user of this pub for over 9 years, it's slow demise can be atributed to only one man. However i hear change is afoot and hopefully this will mean the dozens of regular customers who once made it a excellent venue will return. I would suggest archie that he remembered your name because nobody else use's the place and your the only person he see's on a regular basis.[Report for Removal] | Simion Andrews reigate surrey |

| Absolutely lovely pub that is defined through its warm and welcoming local crowd. Always intimate, it is possible to arrive on your own for some peace and quiet, or if you should choose, be treated as an equal by the patrons, making it easy and enjoyable to strike up conversation and meet new people. Having been drinking in the Panther intermittently for the past 4 years, there is one thing above all that has drawn me back consistently: the landlord. I am not in anyway trying to dispute the claims of my fellow reviewers, but the landlord remembered my name the second time I ever walked in through the front doors, something I have never forgot. This is not the kind of personal service you can find anywhere, and I have made a point of always reciprocating the kindness that has been shown to me on many occasions in the past 4 years, often at particularly hard times. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, however, all it takes is one trip to this pub, and a quick chat with the people that drink there, and you will soon find that the things that keep people coming back are emblematic of the dwindling locals that are so famous in our country: a warm, welcoming little community, a landlord you knows you and who know you, the right ales and dartboard/pool table and a smoking garden. A truly lovely little place! [Report for Removal] | Archie Reigate Surrey |

| Well, where to start? How about the landlord? He’s clearly been beamed down from an alien planet where the inhabitants are perpetually miserable. Also, despite many years amongst us earthlings he’s not fully mastered the linguistic nuances of English or our body language. He’s just weird… The locals are friendly, there a pool table and a dart board, and the beer’s okay, although a better selection would help. [Report for Removal] | Mr J Smith Reigate Surrey |

| I dont think i've ever felt quite so fed up with life as i did after a visit to this place. The smell was not a good start followed quickly by the lack of any staff, When the landlord did appear he did nothing but tell me doom and gloom tales of his obviously sad existance. Trust me on this one stay away. (YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED)[Report for Removal] | Ziggy loves beer Reigate Surrey |
