| My son and his family took my wife and me to The Crown for a lunchtime meal as an alternative to our usual eatery in Pulborough. As a first time visitor I have to say that the food was absolutely superb. The service excellent, and the general demeanour of the staff was first class. The bar was spacious, with good decor, and very clean. My one criticism would be the price of the drinks. £3.95 for a pint of Kronenburg 1664 was excessive by any stretch of the imagination. | We enjoyed a birthday celebration at the Crown Inn in August 2009. Our group of eleven were not an easy lot to cater for with one vegetarian and two with allergy problems. The menu was pre booked and great care was taken to ensure that all our requirements were met. The chef did an excellent job and everyone was happy with their dishes. Our reason for chosing this pub was its child friendly policy which we didn't find in the other pubs we considered. | The Crown is under new management and is all the better for it. The food is what people want in a pub and the prices are far more realistic than they have been for the last few years.
