| The previous reviewer has obviously been to different butchers arms, I was saddened to see such a negative review for a pub that could not be more welcoming. Both the staff and regulars are friendly and always offer a warm reception. With good food and fine beer at reasonable prices what more could you want from a pub. It's nice to see a place where you can get a drink have some friendly conversation and a dog lying infront of a fire, a true pub in age when good pubs are disappearing thick and fast. | Worst reception. Not made to feel welcome. Went with a group of friends. One of the drinkers shouted out of a window to tell us not to park next to his car and was heard to refer to my friend in an offence manner. When we entered the pub, everyone turned to watch us come in. There was a dog chewing on a fresh bone right next to the entrance door. [Report for Removal] | Phililp Reading Berkshire |
