| Has 3 real ales on. Food was wonderful and full of home made taste! They have food on from 12-2 and 6-9. Husband had Venison Casserole and I had the Rabbit pie which melted in my mouth! It is getting very popular so check which days are quiet!! It really is a traditional village pub in suburbia! The atmosphere is great with open fires and the landlord Andre and landlady Heidi made us feel really welcome! They have a lively sense of humour and quick wit. | I must completely retract that last review, we took a chance because we wanted to see Dr Busker and ended up having a brilliant night in the Roebuck. Good food, very good beer and everything we wanted. The landlord appologised for the initial confusion and he and his wife ensured that our party of 8 had an excellent evening. | Huge difficulty booking a meal for 7 and to also watch Dr Busker, the phone number does not work and when we finally got the pub to call us (by physically sending someone round to make a booking) the caller from the pub was rude and very uncooperative - he should be fired or just not ever be allowed to deal with customers.[Report for Removal] | Ian Cheshire Burghfield Common Berks |
