| Me and my girlfriend turned up early (before the pub was open) on a Sunday last week, to go for a walk with the intention to have something to eat after at the pub. But no sooner had we got out of the car the manager came out of the back door in a rage! Shouting " It would of been nice to be asked if we could park in the car park"! To which I replied, that we were just about to come and ask if we could park there, but as he had not given us a chance, just jumped straight down our throats! So I asked him if it would be ok to park there while we walked, and he just kept on shouting across the car park. Saying that Sunday was very busy and we should not park there. We were totally amazed at the rudeness of the manager, and I said back that we were going to be having something to eat there when we came back. Which if he had shut up for more than 1 second and thought about it he may of realized that we may have been customers! After the way he had treated us we decided to go and eat somewhere else! I wonder how many other people he has managed to push away from the once good pub! After asking a couple of my friends what they thought of the pub, they all said it used to be a really good pub and sell great food, but now it has gone down hill big time! (and I can see why!) So if you want to get abuse from a manager feel free to go there. But if you are after some good food and a pleasant atmosphere give this pub a very wide birth!
