| A nice atmosphere. Cosy but not poky. Very nice tableware. Super fresh, probably home made bread. Menu was refreshingly small with around 8 starters and similar main courses. Lots of local fresh produce. We had a caramalized onion tartlet with a dash of blue cheese and a warm salad of feta cheese and chicken. Followed by local rack of pork with superb flavour and delicious crackling, and a well filled and flavoursome fish cake. Vegetables were nicely crunchy but not raw. All washed down with a very drinkable Malbech, from an interesting wine list that connerseurs will enjoy. We booked again for next week when we shall be accompanied by my hard to please brother!! A thoroughly enjoyable evening.[Report for Removal] | Mike Thomas Basingstoke Hampshire |
