| lovely local pub with a good old fashioned friendly atmosphere. Dave the landlord is very friendly and helpful. A good selection of well kept beer and a wide range of spirits, alchopops etc. sambuca £1 a shot! Music on a friday night, pool darts and quiz throughout the week. | If you like a good pint of beer at a reasonable price and an old fashioned local, this is the pub for you. It has a number of pool teams with probaly some of the best pool players in the area.it has a number of dart teams as well. So if you like a nice friendly local and a good landlord (Dave) pay it a visit, then if you liking eating out it has wide and varied selection of crisps so go the whole hog Dave has peanuts as well. It has a large back garden with garden furniture a sun trap during the summer (Tans for free) undercover smoking area with tables and chairs. The toilets are clean. There is generally music on a Friday and a quiz on a Thursday night. So there you have it a good pint, pool, darts, music and a quiz, give it a try, you may like it.
