| The King's Head in Thatcham is the oldest public house. It began life as the original coaching inn. This pub dates from the 17th Centry. The pub is today owned by Alex and Sue Collins. It has a good range of beers and usually has 2 real ales on. The pub has 2 bars, the lounge bar which is totally non smoking. The pub also benefits from a pool room, juke box and offers live music most Sunday nights. The also boasts a Crib, Pool and Darts team.
