| The pub itself is fine but AVOID THE FOOD. My partner's dish was cold, then when it came back reheated he found a shard of plastic in it. I suspect this is partly because there are about 40 different dishes on the menu and looking at the size of the kitchen there is no way on earth they could adequately cater for everything they're offering. | I like this pub for the food. The portions are nice and big, the food is tasty and the prices is good. It feels like a home cooked meal. The food comes out quiet quickly too. The thing I like also is that the plates don't usually match each other. The real fires are nice in winter, and it does feel cosy inside. There is enough to keep kids entertained outside, which is nice because the inside is then quieter. Nice friendly staff. Could do with a little bit of internal refurbishment, without fear of loosing the character of the pub. Can get quite busy sometimes, especially with people eating. | I dont know why anyone has not commented on this pub. The staff are excellent the food is fantastic, big portions and the log fire is to die for, if you can get there early for a seat. we go there every 2 weeks without fail. don't miss, better than the rest. we'll see you there![Report for Removal] | sue great barr birmingham |
