| this pub is a joke!!! i went on a sunday and paid £5 for a ham sandwich which consisted of 1 slice of cheap ham inbetween to slices of cheap brown bread! oh and some sad brown salad leaves that had been sitting in salad dressing since the previous day...and nothing for children to eat even though they say they are family friendly! | We went for lunch on a Sunday, the menu had only 3 choices on it, a roast, ploughmans and sandwiches. No childrens choices and would not do half portions. Sandwiches £5 ploughmans £7.50 massively overpriced for what you got. Sandwiches cheap white bread, cheese ploughmans tiny bit of bread tiny spoon of pickle, dull salad and bland cheap cheese.
