| Great pub, comfortable room with 4-poster. Very well staffed and the food was excellent and reasonably priced (huge portions, too). Only a couple of minutes from A30. Bar's noisy till about 12.30 on Friday amd Saturday nights - a problem if you want an early night (we didn't, fortunately). | A wonderful pub, superb cask beers (3) and a cracking Landlord who has wrenched it our of a national groups hands and is turning it around to the former glory it had when he was chef there 7 years ago - and righltly so the food is superb I couldn't fault the place and we stayed there for a week in teh 4 poster room.
