| My wife and i dined here this weekend and was pleasantly suprised to see that the meals had improved and we were delighted to enjoy a really fabulous meal . This was let down by the shocking service . The meals were `dumped` at our table by a obviously overworked teenager and hastily taken away with no offer of dessert or coffee. | Having been to this pub recently I cannot recommend it at all unfortunately, it's pretty rubbish. Having finally managed to park in the disorganised car park in my Vauxhall Belmont without falling in the water, I entered the pub and asked for a vodka with just ice & no slice. The youngster behind the bar who I doubt was even old enough to serve drinks and I think he was gay didn't know what a slice was so I said forget it I'll have my money back and I paid £200. Even though I hadn't paid anything the young man gave me £200 without question! I lit up a fag in my expensive fag holder and he said sorry you can't smoke in here so I called him a twat and left! Most disappointed. On the way out I had further problems with the car park, there was no proper wall and I ended up with 2 wheels over the edge and had to call the AA to help me out. Which cost me the £200 I'd made from the little dumbass because I've had 15 home starts and 29 recoveries in the last year! I want my money back!
