| The price of the food, if you can call it that, is highly inflated and the price does not reflect the quality of the fare. | The worst meal I have ever eaten! ...and that includes eating a very dodgy curry in the back streets on Delhi in 2005. I did question why there were only two other people in the bar on the sunny saturday evening when I visited. Once the food was put in-front of me the answer bacame clear. | For the price of £9, the fishless pie served along with chips, which had so obviously been refried from a previous sitting was pretty poor. | Excellent service and nothing was too much trouble (even providing cheese and biscuits- which weren't on the menu).Fantastic food for the price and very comfortable environment. The most comfortable settee i have ever sat in. For a pub lunch this place cannot be faulted, beautiful village location just off the A1 ,good old fashioned service and, if i am ever in the area again, will not hesitate to eat here again.[Report for Removal] | Tim Hitchen Clitheroe Lancashire |
