| Had sunday lunch there today, we wish we had stayed at home. Lunch was not freshly carved looked reheated as it was swimming in gravy. Arrived for a pre lunch drink 30 minutes before table was booked and was pushed straight through to our table as there is little room to stand and socialise in the bar area. Our order was taken immediately and brought to the table within minutes. So little food on the plate the whole meal with dessert was over in 45 minutes. No where to sit afterwards so went home. No atmosphere, waitress lacked customer service skills.Shall not be returning.[Report for Removal] | C Brown peterborough cambs |

| Well run, busy at times, surprisingly good food. Big car park over the road and an impressive garden to the side. Landlord is friendly and welcoming and the waiting staff are motherly. Good well-tended log fire in the cold months. I have taken people there on several occasions and they have all liked it.[Report for Removal] | B Ridley Northampton Northants |
