| I have had many nice meals at the Suncastle however the other Sunday I took my daughter and two grandaughters for lunch there and had cause to complain. I know they were busy as they had a darts tournament on and people had been having lots of hot meatcobs which meant there was only turkey left which we said would be fine and paid. It was only then we were informed that it was still cooking and would be 10 minutes. We duly waited and the turkey was dished up for us and we helped ourselves to vegetables and gravy. Im sorry to say we could not eat it. The stuffing in the turkey was sour and made me feel sick, the gravy was watered down and the yorkshires cold not one of the four of us could eat it. On leaving I called the lady over from behind the counter and explained that although we have had lovley meals in the past this one was awful and unedible, I have been in the trade myself for thirty odd years and have always appreciated being told if something isn't right, I was very polite and subtle. Therefore was flabbergasted to be met with such a rude response no I'm very sorry just well it's not my fault it's down to the chef if you'd brought it back I could see it with which I did no more than fetch all four plates off the table which she took out to the kitchen and came back saying at the top of her voice saying I can't give you all your money back here tack the price of the childrens meals. I wasn't wanting my money an apology and an acknoledgement that it was not up to there usual standard would have done and I'd have been happy but to be met with that attitude and rudeness was unbelievable even the lady stood next to me in the que said how rude she was. I therefore will never go back again or take any of my friends and family as I have done in the past as I stay most of the time in Skegness it is definately off my list of places to visit.[Report for Removal] | Gillian Pollard Nottingham Notts. |
