| what a friendly pub it was to go into. large coal fires greeted like a long lost frien. the food food was fantastic and the atmostphere was wonderful will come again they also like familys and two meals for a fiver who can fault them. thumbs up.[Report for Removal] | mr smith nottingham nottinghamshire |

| We entered the public house and was greeted by a dog with its paws on the bar, like a barman. The landlord came and we ordered a meal each, we ordered drinks and my wife's glass was very dirty, we sat at the tables and they were sticky, there was dust everywhere, we should not have stopped but as I had paid for the meals we stopped. When the meals arrived (after a long time, as the cook had gone shopping) they were very poor with not much on the plate, my wifes lettuice was alive, the cheese on her cheese salad was sour and there was very little salad anyway, we had to leave it and walked out, I know we should have comlained, but I could tell it was a waste of time. Someone could finish up with food poisioning, I would not recommend it to anyone. In my opinion, it needs closing down, cleaning and refurbishing, the landlord does not seem bothered.[Report for Removal] | Brian Siddall Skegness Lincolnshire |
