| party of 22 (pre booked) had sunday lunch.Dining area freezing we had to ask for extra heaters.Two long tables close together so staff had trouble serving, would have been easy to tip hot food over diners!Waiteress disorganised not enough cutlery or napkins, carvery was fair but not hot!Bread and butter pudding was lovely shame it was cold in the middle - not long enough in the microwave.This could be a great pub needs to sort out staff training and heating. | Went into the pub, nice welcoming big roaring fire and nice decor unfortunately thats where it ended! We ordered our meal from a nice polite waitress I actually asked if I could have stilton sauce on the top of my steak and my wife had stilton topped chicken, when the main meal came up my wife found the chicken stringy and so overcooked, my steak was ok but the stilton accompaniment was white sauce flavoured, the bread and butter pud was absolute rubbish! please change your chef or I feel you WILL lose custom, we eat out 2-3 times a week and this is one we wont be coming back to, shame because its a nice pub just the food needs to be addressed.[Report for Removal] | Ken Challans Spalding Lincolnshire |
