This pub was closed for some time and reopened last Easter. They are independant and the work carries on. Monthly quizes. karaokes, singers, sky tv, pool and dart teams and a Nintendo wii in the public bar for the customers to use free of charge. An excellent menu with no frozen vegtables on site and all the steaks joints sausages etc from local stock and butchered in the village. Fresh sunday roasts even the yorkshire puddings are made freshly. A kids menu in place and a childrens play area and beer garden planned for this year. The real ales are only taken from local breweries with the two at the moment from Tydd Steam from Tydd St Giles and twitching beaver from Weston Hills. The owners react well to customer suggestions and theres always a welcoming atmosphere. Still a way to go but you get the feeling of being part of something positive being a regular. A breath of fresh air for the village and especially the pubs localy.[Report for Removal] Lewis Machin
