| The reason the pub closed was because the previous landlord (Southerner, not local) admitted buying it to turn the VAST (seriously, it was HUGE) grass area at the back into land for houses. The pub was, when I last drove past a week ago, finally covered in demolition posters, so I assume it will be a new housing estate after all. [Report for Removal] | Ben Spalding Lincolnshire |

| Closed now for over a year. This was a popular and busy pub with good food and good beer. The last two landlords failed where previous ones succeeded - why? If it ain't broke, why fix it? One tried to make it into a town pub - this is a village! If anyone knows where we can buy it and re-open this pub, please leave a message on this page - the locals want it opened again[Report for Removal] | Bell Local - well previously ! Spalding Lincs |
