| With all the Pubs that are shutting in and around the area, its nice to know that the Bull is still serving excellent food with excellent service, couple this with the great welcome, friendly customers, a roaring fire and good food, well done John and Heather and the team for giving my Wife and I many a good meal and welcome. | In February 2007 we were looking for a suitable place close to Spalding to take our Aunt Pat for Saturday lunch to celebrate her 90th birthday. We saw the previous reviews of The Bull on this site and thought we would try it. The restaurant is not open on a Saturday lunchtime so we had our meal in the lounge. Pat is very deaf so we were pleased that the background music was at a very low level so conversation wasn't inhibited. We also had a 6 month old baby in the party and the staff were very helpful at accommodating both ends of the age range. There was a good choice on the menu and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Pat managed to finish hers and share a pud (a delicious Baked Alaska) which is a considerable accolade as she normally eats very little nowadays. | This is a really nice pub, really friendly staff and John and Heather (Landlord and Landlady) have a wonderful set up. They do great roasts, bar snacks and a la carte menus. | Brilliant food, brilliant service! This pub is the talk of the town - everyone knows The Bull around here for its excellent meals. It has a cosy bar and lounge bar and a great open spaced traditional restaurant. Ive been there more times than Ive had hot dinners!
