| On a recent visit to The Barn at Lerags Glen my friends and I were very disappointed at the food and the service provided. We went for Sunday lunch which had the option of venison which I ordered. It is a sin if a deer died to produce this rubbish, then there was the wine, a bottle of Rioja for £10 seemed reasonable, until we reached the end and found about a teaspoon of sediment in the bottom (and in my glass). I complianed to the waitress about this ( I think she was also the owner) to be told this was perfectly normal, to which I replied it was not, to be replied with no more than a shrug of the shoulder. As we had spent over £100 there we decided not to give a tip ( to cover the wine cost) and were notified that service was not included in the bill. CHEEK! Stayed locally for another 7 days and did not return. The beer and the local musicians were good by the way.[Report for Removal] | John glasgow strathclyde |
