| This canal-side pub combines the friendly atmosphere of a traditional 18 century pub with fantastic food - something seems to be hard to find in a pub these days. We parked at the pub and did a circular walk of about 90 mins, then came back to the best Sunday roast I've eaten with rare beef, proper gravy and enormous Yorkshire puds! With the likes of sticky toffee pudding, bread and butter pudding, cheesecake or panna cotta for pudding we were spoilt for choice. There is a lovely walled garden out the back with and walkers and dogs are made very welcome. Definitely recommend.[Report for Removal] | Angela Burford Oxon |
