| This is our local and our favourite place to eat! Good range of specials, but I nearly always have the excellent Steak & Kidney Pie which is very filling, and the homemade chips. Very good value as new potatoes or chips,with salad ( very good) or veg. is included with mains. An excellent cellar keeps the real ale very well. The house wines are also very popular. A great place to eat, proper pub & restaurant with real fire and no distracting juke box or fruit machines. The garden is a sun trap in summer, a great place to sit and watch the world go by.
