| Recently reopened (October 2009) after being closed for refurbishment for 2 years following structural problems. It is a historical building that was once a coaching inn and has many historical claims to fame such as being the hiding place of King Charles during Civil War. The new management have done an excellent job of modernizing it without destroying the historical aspect of the building. Has 4 real ales from Hook Norton and Adnams. Serves reasonably priced food all day and evening. [Report for Removal] | Steven Green Abingdon Oxfordshire |
