| I had read -with some concern - previous comments about this pub but have to say was pleasantly surprised when I dropped by last Saturday evening. OK so the decor isn't Saville Road and the clientelle are of the more 'earthy' kind but the beer was fine and you MUST try the Guiness and Steak pie because it hits the spot. Special mention to 'The Man With No Teeth' - he exists and he is a star I kid you not even if his memory span can only be measured in seconds. Second to him comes Ernie with the bobble hat who is an ex-Scouser but didn't have an accent. Nat & Curly who run the place are a laugh a minute and all bodes well for the future I reckon. Go on give it a try (with an open mind) and you'll be quite surprised.[Report for Removal] | Mr Stokes Tidworth Hants |
