| The Morning Star has recently been completely renovated by the new owners Jacqui and Brian, also owners of the Dolphin in nearby Wallingford. The Star is open lunchtimes and evenings in the week and all day at the weekend until late. There is still the open fire and juke box, sky TV and the dart board. Sunday lunches are also very popular again having done away with the carvery. Most Sundays are completely booked up and it's now essential to book so they must be good! Food is also served during the week. The new managers are Emma and Jon, a really friendly young couple. The Star is now a clean and comfy with a nice welcoming atmosphere.
