| It is such a tragedy. This pub used to be a place that my wife & I loved going to on a warm sunny day to watch kingfishers fly past as we sat next to the river with a cool pint of beer. Something happened to this place when I believe it was taken over or something. The wide screen TV blasting out sports, the take it or leave it attitude of their manager and staff and stupid rules such as no hats - (perfect for a hot sunny day - not) & evening security on the gates. All of this adds up to one thing only, they are used dealing with thugs and this is now a heavy pub in disguise.
