| Due to the time of day + driving I only had cup of tea and a piece of fruit cake at the bar. The cake was stale the tea was made with a tea bag which was then slopped into a cup on the bar. To say the bar maid wasn't interested is an understatement. And to top it all the bar was filthy. With a location like this and such beautiful historic premises this place should be gold mine. If it wasn't in such a lovely location I suspect it would have gone bust long ago. I don't know what the beer is like , maybe that's a redeeming feature.
