| On a return journey from West Wales to Monmouth we saw a sign for the " Mountain Air" carvery. Sunday 5th December 2:55pm we took a chance and hoped they would serve us. We were warmly welcomed, my 1yr old grandson was supplied with a clean & safe highchair and a large table was located for us, in an already packed pub. A hearty meal-with real potatoes and homemade gravy, yummy. Lots of families,everyone chatty and happy. I didn't want to leave, so cosy and a very nice atmosphere.
