| A great disappointment - the pub looked run down, our room was dirty, we were only given one towel and one tea/coffee mug for a 3 night stay, the TV wasn't working and the room was directly above the pub's outdoor smoking area, resulting in extra noise and smells. Breakfast was very good, but the menu had been cut to barely 5 of the usual pub-type meals with no fresh vegetables. As we had witnessed another couple, (who had arrived the same evening as us and wanted to leave the next day), being forced to pay for all the nights they had booked and claim back from their credit card company, we decided to stay and eat elsewhere. After complaining we did get a slight reduction, but this hardly compensated for a misleading web site and a disappointing stay.[Report for Removal] | Marianne Pateman Aberystwyth Ceredigion |
