| Well we went for a meal to try out the changes made by the new owners. The place looked the same except they had painted the walls, tacky. Oh my god the food was like gruel. I had a veggi chillie and guess what it was made from cabbage and had a few other frozen veg thrown in. Red kidney beans were hard to see!! out of 10.... minus 8, at least the plate was clean. go at your own risk.[Report for Removal] | b franklin guilsborough northants |

| I am not surprised by the previous review, however shortly after their incedent the "management couple" concerned moved on, and my local became worth going into. The Ward has improved out of all recognition. Nobby & Kate have cleaned and swapped the place round. We now have up to 8!!! very well kept mostly micro brewery beers some of which are Nobby's own, we also get real ciders. There will also be Nobby's brewery at the back of the pub soon ,now that with the enthusiastic support of the parish, planning permission has been recieved. This place has truely transformed. | Called in after a local ramble on Feb 19th. Landlady ignored us for 5 minutes then said - no space for 'walk-ins'. She was wearing a sleeveless waistcoat that showed all her arm tattoos and g-string. We were amazed at her attitude and language, and will never return.
