| NICE PUB WITH FRIENDLY STAFF BUT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN TOO FAR OUT OF TOWN AND OUT OF THE WAY.ALSO RUINED BY A FEW SHADY REGULARS WHO SEEM TO THINK THAT THEY OWN THE PUB.FUNNY 1 NIGHT WHEN A REGULAR STARTED CALLING A WOMAN AND HER BOYFRIEND, A BODYBUILDING CAGE-FIGHTER HAPPENED TO IN THE PUB! ALL THE 'HARD' REGULARS SUDDENLY DESERTED THEIR MATE! THE DOORMEN THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY AND SUDDENLY EVERYBODY NEEDED THEM.IT DIDNT KICK OFF BUT THEY LET THE LAD GET AN EMBARRASSING LESSON IN MANNERS BEFORE THEY ACTED. | went in here in the summer a few times with my friends and it was a nice pub with nice drinks. to be honest it was the security who i was most impressed with. there were 2 doormen on at the time. one was a huge bloke with glasses on and the other was smaller and nice looking with a muscular build. they were really polite and friendly,they made me and my friends feel like a queen! you felt safe and they also spoke to you how you would like to be spoken to. i went back in to this pub again near christmas and it was different doormen. they were rubbish with bad attitudes and we didnt feel as safe. a fight broke out and they were useless.shame the other doormen were'nt on anymore because they handled the trouble and helped to prevent it. i havent been back since that night. why did the pub spoil a good thing for its customers?
