| I have visited The maid after hearing that a new family has taken over. I have not entered the place since 2007. | I visited her on 22nd December 2007 and will never return! This pub has the worst toilets I have ever had the misfortune to visit. When you walk in the pub you can smell the loos instantly! The Ladies has 3 cubicles - 2 with broken locks. You'll be lucky if you get a loo with any toilet paper, the paper towel container will most likely be empty, the hand drier doesn't work, there is no soap and the taps don't produce any water!! The floor is filthy, and what's more the manager doesn't give a toss! Quote "I am only the manager, I haven't been here very long" and she does nothing to alleviate the situation (eg provide loo roll, soap etc) The only upside is the barman is quite cute.
