| After living in Heckington for many years I deceided to try out the Nags Head as a one off. I heard many good and bad things about the pub, hoever I thought I would go and see for myself. I took my family into the pub on a Sunday afternoon and we found the pub to be dirty, untidy and not in the least bit friendly. The bar area was dirty, the garden was over grown so my children were unable to play out in the garden and most of all the landlady just couldn't be bothered. She did nothing but sit at the bar and swear out loud with her customers and for a Sunday afternoon with children in the pub I was not in the least bit impressed.
