| We had looked at the reviews about this restaurant and initially were reluctant to try the place out. We are so glad we had lunch on July 29th. The ambiance was breathtaking, the food superb, good value for money and the bar staff were plesant and friendly. To the critics who comment about the waiting time for food - if it's cooked fresh it will take time!!! We will definitely go again and again.... | Visited the dog & duck for the first time in years and couldn't believe the transformation, went along with my sister & a friend and we all thought the food was excellent & so was the service. Need to do something about the slippery flour though! [Report for Removal] | cheryl drake mansfield notts |

| service extremely poor, slow delivery of food - 50 mins for main course on aquiet wednesday. Worst of all was the attidude of staff, in particular Claire, who when I complained actually was arrogant enough to give me her name to put on the review!!!!!!!! never going back.[Report for Removal] | John Browne Newark Notts |

| The food was good the attitude of the staff stunk. I was in a party of 4 and waited 50 minutes for main course from ordering to arriving at table. It wasnt busy and when I complained the staff, claire, was appalling. No customer care skills whatsoever, in fact she gave me her name to put on the review - so arrogant it was unbelievable. Never once did she offer an apology.[Report for Removal] | John Browne Newark Notts |
