| We visited the GH last night because it USED to be an excellent eating house and we had eaten there many time in the past - sadly not any more after last nights experience. Together with the other diners we waited for over an hour for our meal with not a word of explaination from the staff. My battered fish came 5 mins before the others in our group and was not properly cooked through - fat not hot enough. My wifes´Stir fry was wet throughout and hardly had any veg on board. My friends Med-Rare steak arrived well done and on sending it back another arrived Well Done again. Others at adjoining tables were picking at their food showing much dissatisfaction so we were´nt alone in our opinion. When my friend approached the mananger to complain the manager said" are you from table 2 ?" On receiving the affirmative the manager simply turned his back and walked away from him - to the embarrasement of the bar manager. Absolutely rude and disgraceful behalviour. No- we will never go there again and recommend that everyone gives the place a wide berth. We found out that the place is under new management - only 4 day old, but in my opinion you don´t burn your boat before you´ve had time to launch it.Time fopr another change of owner I think.
