| Booked after reference found in Good Pub Guide. Very friendly from the moment you walk in the door. Helpful staff who were exceptionally child friendly, chatty locals who gave ideas on where to visit. Good range of bar food, lounge area with sofa, games room with pool and darts. Tranquil setting, short circular riverside walk nearby approx 1-1.5 miles at most. Excellent wine and food menu, large salad bar with plenty of choice as a side order option. | An excellent village pub, with good accommodation, superb food is served in either the restaurant or the bar, best to book though at the weekend as very busy. Its in a good location, being close to the town of Alnwick (Gardens & historic centre) & near the coast, Seahouses has sea trips to view the wildlife.[Report for Removal] | David Squire Warrington Cheshire |
