| Husband and I were presented with a dreadful meal , they were inedible , on sending one back , it was returned exactly the same . One young female member of staff ( fair brown hair seeing to cutlery ) was very pleasant bless her , ??manager was completely indifferent . Will not be returning and certainly not recommending.[Report for Removal] | P and W Barber Monkseaton Tyne and Wear |

| This pub is a dissgrace. We come to Warkworth every year and always drink and dine at this pub. Never again. The new owners when they bother to turn up have no interest in the place or their customers. The staff they have are clearly unhappy judging by the conversations and the food was diabolical. Not sure why the last landlord left, but S&N should be worried with these new people[Report for Removal] | Mr Hubbard Heaton Newcastle |

| We went to warkworth 13/09/09 with friends they were 6 adults and 2 children, on discovering that they did a carvery,we all had that. The staff totally confused the order, and more staff had to come and confirm it again, The food we recieved was totally dreadful, the vegetables were just mush, and the meat was very cheap cuts all fat and sinue no solid meat. Do not eat here, you will have an awful time and be throwing your money away. [Report for Removal] | Mrs Helen Young Stockton on tees Cleveland |

| Called here for a bite to eat whilst staying in Warkworth. Had many a sandwich in my time but this without a doubt was THE worst ever. Lashings of margerine dripping from a warm beef n gravy sandwich - thought it was a yellow sauce. Completely inedible. Would have liked not to have had to pay for it but the manager was only able to pass on a half hearted apology via a member of bar staff - where was the customer service??? No wonder this place is up for lease. [Report for Removal] | mrs roberts Wetherby West Yorkshire |

| The Masons Arms is a credit to Warkworth. We were staying in the village for our holidays in the first week or March 09 and dined out every night. We ate at all of the pubs in the village, but kept going back to the Masons Arms. The food is mouth-watering and the chefs must take real care and have pride in their work. The atmosphere was light and cheerful and the staff were friendly and happy to help. I have read the first few reviews on this website and disagree with those statements, maybe there were problems in the past, but these problems were in no way evident any more. Regarding the animals in the pub, dogs were allowed in the bar area – but not in the restaurant – so they were well away from the food. We had a great time in Warkworth and the Masons Arms has greatly attributed to our decision to return in the future.[Report for Removal] | Simon Montgomery New York New York |

| Great Ale! We were staying in Roxbro House B&B and as part of the holiday package we got free meals at the Masons. I was pleasantly surprised at the range of real ales they had to offer. Superbly poured by the landlord who had great knowledge of the ales and their origins. This kind of service is a great benefit to any pub, and certainly puts the Masons above the rest of the pubs in the village. The meals were delicious and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere over the weekend was marvellous. By the look of things, the Masons Arms was certainly the first choice for the locals – according to them, the cheapest too! | Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Masons Arms! The staff were friendly and talkative and the specials board was bursting with delicacies. A round of applause to the barman Ian P who provided a fantastic service and made us feel very welcome. We popped back into the Masons for Sunday lunch and ate outside in their spacious beer garden. A great place, we shall return![Report for Removal] | Steve Jobs Morpeth Northumberland |

| We thought that we would give the Masons 'one more try', we were wrong. Food was very poor, luke warm when it arrived. Sticky toffee pudding appeared to have been reheated several times. Concern about a cat running about the place - hygiene? I do hope that the owners read these comments and take action. They are competing against the Hermitage over the road which wins hands down on quality of food. Beer was fine.[Report for Removal] | Keith Richardson Cleveland Ohio USA |

| We have made three visits to masons arms, one where they forgot the order for an hour, one where the sunday dinner was almost inedible, cheap meat and badly cooked veg, and one where I was asked to pay up front in case I ran off without paying, without offering to swipe card etc, and was subsequently refused service by a very rude landlord who despite my complying entirely with his request does not like customers who comment on his poor attitude towards his customers. Some people are not cut out to run pubs. Don`t bother, eat elsewhere. [Report for Removal] | david barras Morpeth Northumberland |
