| A great traditional boozer with a fantastic terrace outside (for the fresh air lovers) and two cozy rooms (real fires in the winter). Offering great real ales from seven hand-pulls. Winner of the CAMRA real cider pub of the year (north-east) for the last 4 years. On top of this, there's a much loved venue upstairs hosting gigs and events of all types. Check out the website (or more often updated Facebook page) for more details. It's clearly my favourite pub in my home town.
