| the black bull at one time was a great pub, but has went down hill in a massive way, in the last year. i always found the staff to be very pleasant but the managent totally ignorant and not very helpful and very rarely on the premises the food at one time was great when you new who was cooking it and the kitchen staff were always very helpful in your choosing of food but that wasnt always the case when the new managers took over on april 2007,they have no interest in the pub or their customers, and their hospitality skills and customer skills are beyond poor, that also goes hand in hand with their hygiene. i would never return to the black bull for a drink never mind a meal. since the food has now stopped and has been for a while now as the management had know interest in , and when there was food going on when customers asked for certain meals the management always told there customers that meal isnt on that day so people stay clear of the black bull only at the begining of aug 08 the black bull kitchen was closed down by the enviromental health as the kitchen is disgusting and the management had to get it cleaned to date as far as i am aware the kitchen is still closed i pitty the quiz teams who still frequent that establishment. i would suggest do not touch the food.
