| I have very fond memories of the Eureka, and as personal as the reasons may be, I would still say this is an excellent neighbourhood pub! I like the publican's dogs and the fact that they are allowed to run around the pub freely to mingle with the patrons. Overall, the pub has a very cosy, 'neighbourhood' feel to it - I'm not sure if it has a fireplace but i think it does. Staff is very friendly too. And the seating layout is very nice. I remember writing some great poetry and songs in the cosy environs of this pub with my buddy and great guitarist Alan Reed - Al if you're reading, leave a message and I will post my email addy. Eureka also has some good tandoori takeouts close by, so you can fuel up with some good curry after some good pints.
