| My partner and I went to the New Crown for dinner (a regular event), on Tuesday 12th May 2009 I ordered chicken wrapped in bacon (as usual), when the food was served I could not even cut the chicken never mind eat it. I asked a young waitress (who was very nice and apologetic) to take it back to the kitchen. She returned a few minutes later saying the chef said it's not over cooked and if you ask for another one it will be the same so order something else. I then ordered fish and chips which took another ten minutes, by which time my partner had finished his food (over cooked steak). The young girl brough my fish and chips (which was awful). She returned to the kitchen, after a couple of minutes she came back to the table and said I have been told to ask you for another £1 because the fish and chips is more expensive than the chicken!!!!!!!
